My Name is Evan Gusar and I am the owner/operator and technician for Central Coast Guitar Services.
I Love Guitars and I have been playing for over 60 years. My mom bought me my first guitar when I was 7 years old. It was a Stella acoustic that cost about $25.00 I have been hooked ever since!
I am passionate about my own instruments and I will have the same passion in setting up your guitar.

At Central Coast Guitar Services we specialize in electric, acoustic and bass guitar setups.
included in a typical setup is the following:
1. Initial assessment, I will determine if the electronics are working properly by listening for any static or scratchiness. The pots will be sprayed if necessary.
2. I will then make a determination about strings. If new strings are requested they will be installed and stretched.
3. Then general maintenance will be performed on your guitar, which consists of polishing the frets with 6 different grades of polishing pappers. The fretboard will then be conditioned restoring the natural beauty of the wood. The complete guitar will then be cleaned including those hard to reach places.
4. The neck will be adjusted by measuring the neck relief and adjusting the truss rod.
5. String height will be measured and adjusted to desired action.
6. Intonation will be checked and adjusted to get the guitar dialed in and up to spec.
7. Finally, the guitar will be fine tuned and cleaned again.
Other services are also offered on a case by case basis.
